This week the Department for Education launched their consultation on proposed changes to the keeping children safe in education (KCSIE) statutory guidance.

The consultation will close on the 21st April 2020 and aims to gather feedback on the proposed changes. Most of the changes are said to be ‘technical in nature’ and are clearly laid out in Annex G of the draft guidance.

Note: This guidance is a draft for consultation – DfE reminds users to continue to refer to existing 2019 version of KCSIE.

Feedback to the proposed changes can be submitted online.
